The Hawley JV girls were beaten by Colorado City by a score of Hawley, 46, Colorado City, 48. High point was Toni Hargis with 22 points. Jayna Hampton scored 6 points, Britney Jordan, 5, Raven Wells, 5, Jessica Higa, 4 and Amber McCoy, 2. The girls were 6 out of 17 on the free-throw line.
The Hawley JV girls beat Stamford by a score of Hawley 36, Stamford, 26. Toni Hargis and Britney Jordan both had 10 points. Olivia Tilly contributed 8 points to the effort. Also scoring were Jessica Higa, 4, Stephanie Tubbs, 2, and Kandice Caffey, 2. The girls were 0 for 8 at the free-throw line.
The Hawley JV girls won their last game of the season beating Anson, 51 to 42. High point was Toni Hargis with 17 points. Britney Jordan scored 14 points. Also scoring were Kandice Caffey, 6, Olivia Tilly, 6, Amber McCoy, 4, Stephanie Tubbs, 3, and Jessica Higa, 1.
Coach Roberts wanted to thank the parents, coaches and athletes who have made this a great year. The JV girl’s record was 18-10 for the year and 6-4 in district.
