Bearcat Cross Country Varsity Team Places Second
The Hawley Bearcat Cross Country Varsity team placed second in the McMurry Cross Country meet held at the Wylie middle school on Saturday, September 17, 2005. Brendon Bounds lead the team with a 2nd place finish and a time of 16:41.09 on the
three-mile course. Seth Manly placed 7th with a time of 18:22.86. Josh Winegeart placed 9th, 18:44.34, and Justin Bristow also received a medal with his 12th place finish, 19:21.43. Placing 16th was Rodney Rud with a time of 19:45.09. Weston Bartlett had an 18th place finish with a time of 20:26.75. The boys will be traveling to Lubbock on Saturday, September 24, to run in the Lubbock Invitational.
