Colorado City proves too much for Hawley

The Colorado City Wolves hosted the Hawley Bearcats Friday night in C-City. The Bearcats were confident they could make a strong showing against the favored Wolves and the defense started out that way. The Bearcat offense came up a little short unable to put together a scoring drive until the 3rd quarter with the PAT being blocked and covered by the Bearcats. The Wolves defeated Hawley with the score of 33-6.

The complete stats were not available at the time of this writing but this much was available.

The Bearcats will host the Anson Tigers Friday night at Forrest Field to continue District 4-2A play. So make plans to attend and show your support for the Bearcats as they battle the cross-county rivals from Anson. Go Bearcats!
